Tim Flegler was born in Columbia South Carolina. Attended Washington DC public schools. Tim accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at an early age, however, his committed walk with Jesus Christ began in 1982 after joining a Men’s Bible Study with Campus Crusade Ministry. Tim graduated from The University of the District of Columbia, and Lancaster Bible College (Biblical Studies) in Greenbelt, Maryland. Tim is an active member in his church. In April of 2015 Tim felt the call of God to retire from GSA after 32 years of service and began full-time ministry with CEF, sixteen months later. One of Tim’s favorite Scripture is Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”
In all my years of being around children (even my own) I have learned that children have a mind to openly want to know more about God, and they have a heart to love Jesus when taught God’s Word. Matthew 19:14 says, “But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.” (NLT) The desire to know God and the love for Jesus Christ shows a child is a reflection of the Kingdom of Heaven, and that is how I want to present myself to the Lord, as His child.
•That I will love God with all my heart, and all my soul. Be a loving husband and father to my family, show love to those I come in contact with, even if the love is not reciprocal.
